The National Organization for Women (NOW) endorsed Jimmy Gomez in the special election to replace Xavier Becerra.

“Jimmy is a true champion for the people of his community,” said Jerilyn Stapleton, President of the California National Organization for Women. “When Planned Parenthood was under attack, Jimmy stood strong in support of the thousands of women and men who rely on Planned Parenthood for critical preventative health services. When Paid Family Leave wasn’t helping those earning the least, Jimmy authored and passed the single largest expansion to Paid Family Leave in the nation. Now more than ever we need people like Jimmy in D.C. to defend our values and fight for progress. It’s imperative we elect Jimmy Gomez to Congress and we are thrilled to support his candidacy.”
